Re: New engine start up ?
colder weather go 180 . i my self run 190 its my winter work truck i like heat .
and why use a silent link style timing chain ? they stretch out so fast . and nice run stand . i took the pics for when i am ready to build mine . got other pics with good ideas will do a mix of them all .

Re: New engine start up ?
no need for a t-stat while braking in the eng, just keep an eye on the temp.

Re: New engine start up ?
Thanks guys, I didn't want to drain the antifreeze down to put in a thermostat and go through that again, when I get it in the blazer I will get one. I will have a helper fan going when I start it to keep temps in check for a break in of 30 minutes at 2500 RPM.
Thanks again 7D2N
