Hey Fast 71,

Might be interested in the '72 Burb,
How's the floors, and doors?
Also, what do you folks use for registration and or title in GA?

Can the Burb be registered?

Thanks,
Mike

i like pics like that, i think its cool to find old vehicles sitting abandoned that arent too far gone, then you can snap pics, then save it and use it for parts or restore

In Georgia (as well as Alabama), a vehicle does not have to be titled if it's over 20 years old. A bill of sale and proof of insurance is enough. The Blazer that I sold to Rotydyne here on the board did not have a title when I bought it. His state (Indiana) makes you get a title so he had to use the bill of sale that I gave him and apply for a title in his state. As long as the car/truck that your buying comes from a state that does not require a title then your state will let you apply for one for it if your state requires one.

Fast71,

I'm looking for some stuff for a 71 4wd. I need steering stabilizer brackets and a front sway bar in any condition, as long as the brackets are good.

The PO of my Blazer took these off and threw away the brackets. I can get lots of pieces for these, but mounting brackets aren't being made!

Help!

Roberty,

Thanks for the info!
It's good to know there's still some good ole common sense left in the world! That sounds like the way it should be in every state!! Ha,Ha!
In IL, if it doesn't have a title........it's history.

Never want to get caught dragging an old abandonded carcass out of a fence row in IL!!!................Instant FELONY!!

If the South ever decides to "RISE AGAIN", count me in!! LOL!!
Maybe we can send these Yankee knuckleheads, and all their
red tape packin'!!!

The 72 down one ton stuff is for sale but if it has a tranny he wants it. So the truck is for sale . every truck is 300 obo. This truck had been hit it the front end so it will be cheaper . if you are close by we can get a weekend day you can come and look at it and make an offer , all offers will be considered .

The 72 burb I havent looked at the side doors but the rear doors are in great shape. It is going to need rockers and I think the boards are in decent shape but dont hold me to it. It use to be a state truck so he has a title on it .

sway bar . I use to have one here but I dont I still have it . I will look tomorrow in the daylight.

Roberty , where do you live here in Ringgold or Tunnel Hill?
I know I can go Sunday maybe Saturday evening

I would still like to get a group together and make a day of it.

Treasures!!!

Are there any complete 55 2-doors or 66-67 Chevy II's? Also what year Cutlass's is he into? My first car was a 72 Cutlass "S" with a W-31 hood. I've had it 15 years. Just built a 5.7 rod 400 and put it in a month ago. I like em' too. I'm a couple hours away up near Knoxville. Always looking for Treasures!!

Thanks

Mark
