70 fuel sending unit

I'm going to replace the fuel sending unit on my Suburban before I put the body back on the frame. The prices are all over the place on the usual vendor sites. Any recommendations on where to get one that will work, won't brake the bank and will ship quickly?

Thanks

Paul

Re: 70 fuel sending unit

I've always had very good luck ordering parts from GMC Pauls. That's where I got my under bed fuel tank and sending unit from years ago and never had any issues. Classic Bowties is good also.

Thanks Ironhorse

How about Classic Parts? Also are all of these from the same manufacturer or from several different ones?

Re: 70 fuel sending unit

Classic Industries in Cal? If that is so I've used them for parts when restoring my '71 Chevelle and also have ordered parts for my '57 Chevy 2 Dr. which is in the process. Think you would be best to order from most any of the supporting vendors listed here who also support this website. A lot of the biggies want your $$ but don't support Josh and Liz here. Can't really say anything on the manufacture question. I would go with GMC Paul or Classic Bowties either one as first choices. Good luck with your parts search.
