Exhaust For Stock 69' 350 manual

In the early stages of my build but trying to put things together now and plan ahead, doing the whole frame and don't want to go back after making it look nice to hang an exhaust so rather get it out the way now. Thinking of running some glasspacks with 2.5" exhaust and some stainless headers. I hear people talking about these From Summit http://www.summitracing.com/search/b...n?autoview=SKU and also Turbos and some flowmaster series 40, but for the price if the Summit ones sound good those are my front runner, anyone have experience with these on a stock 69' 350 with headers and maybe a decent cam?

I ran Heartthrob exhaust with glass packs on my 72 and liked the way it turned out. You can call or email them and get the exact part number for the way you want to route it. I used one of their internet distributors to actually purchase and it was very reasonable.

I included a couple photos of the finished job. I bought the optional crossover kit and had everything ceramic coated.

That looks real nice... but real expensive. How much for that setup if you don't mind me asking?

WOW. Not bad at all. How much does the ceramic coating run? This looks like a nice alternative.

I don't know what the retail cost of the ceramic would be. You would have to check with someone local who coats headers. I'm guessing it would be close to a grand retail. Probably not practical for the average guy. The aluminized tubing as it comes should hold up for years in your climate.
