I don't live very far from you, I'm just down in Ada.
Good looking suburban. Good begining project, or great just the way it is! What motor and tranny are in it?

Re: got me a burb

it has a crate 305 in it. i plan to make it nicer than it is. the rear interior side panels were covered with carpet and in bad shape. i cut new ones, stained them and installed them with decorative screw caps. looks way better now!

Re: got me a burb

You can get one used, or buy a new one from one of the vendors.
Rebuilding them is a waste of time and money in my opinion...

Re: got me a burb

i also purchased a 1969 c10 swb last summer as my first project truck. it had been parked in a field for 20 years. i am enjoying learning as i go with it, because i have never been a mechanic. now i am having fun with this!

Re: got me a burb

Nice find. Love the rear cargo doors. I prefer them over the tail gate. It's a lot easier to get thing in and out of the back.
