New with a 63 BBW SWB Fleetside

I've been a long time lover of old chevy trucks and had a 67 and a 70 back 15-20 years ago when I was young and thought I knew everything there is to know about life but didn't have tools or space to actually work on them so the 67 was sold before I ever got to drive it and the 70 was bought running and driving and thats just what I did with it for about a year until I lost my license and parked it. Well I picked up a killer deal on a 63 recently and after fighting to be able to get my account activated to post here I finally gave in and bought the premium membership because I want to share my build along the way as well as learn and contribute to and from other here.

Heres a picture of it from a few years back before it was taken apart by the PO and then stashed in a barn for the last 7 years.

Anyway I am going to head over and start a proper build thread but I wanted to stop by and introduce myself here first!

I don't know much about the earlier trucks but that sure looks like a well optioned truck with all the chrome and side trim.

I sure wish the old trucks had the RPO sticker in the glovebox like newer ones do to decode the options it originally came with!
