Cool 5.7 issues please help!!!

Been really sick lately so I have not feeling up to doing anything mechanical. Long story short, I get a so called mechanic over to change the oil…as it’s been smoking like a train, this idiot drained the oil out but didn’t change the filter. I actually found the new filter stuck underneath my driver seat, how didn’t he think I wouldn’t find that. Anyway, it’s still smoking bad, is this the cause because honestly the filters can’t hold that much oil to cancel out 5 quarts, can they?
What I saw left in the drain pan was black and thick. The smoke is white and smells like gas sometimes and other times burning oil. Is this a symptom of the engine going out? My daily driver is down for a while and I need to have transportation to work/school. Thanks as always for advice.

tuned up last month, but can't seem to get #8 plug to come out, any advice for stubborn plug?

Re: 5.7 issues please help!!!

Probably have a bad FPR located under the upper intake plenum attached to the central FI unit. They rupture and leak into the cylinders and dilute the crankcase.

As for a stubborn plug, try running it to get hot, spray it with your favorite lube while it's hot and then try it.
