Question newbie at 4x4

I would like to put a 350 into my 91 s10, it currently has a 4.3 with a four speed. It is also a 4x4, so I'm wondering if I will have to change the rest of the driveline to match up with the larger engine, and what would I want to look for as donar parts?

Re: newbie at 4x4

I have never thought about doing it and don't know anyone that has. It has been done. The ones I have seen have had older axles and leafs added.

Re: newbie at 4x4

Thanks, I guess I'll just have to get a tape measure out and take it from there. This is the first s10 that I have worked on and I've never built a 4x4 neither.
