Got my firewall booster bracket from CPP today. They put a bracket for stop light switch and a 3/16” plate. Large plate mounts to outside of firewall and thin plate mounts inside firewall in that little groove. It looks like they have Been listening to some of the guys on this forum.

Re: CPP Firewall Mounted Booster/MC Bracket upgrades

I bought mine about 3 months ago, and it was the old style. Guess I should have waited!

Re: CPP Firewall Mounted Booster/MC Bracket upgrades

I got mine from CPP about a year and a half ago with the same upgraded plates and part number. Very sturdy.

Cheers, Jim

Although, still had to open the hole a bit on one side to allow bellows to move freely. It was binding a little and pulling off the master. Good set up.
