Re: Killer

If I was you I would take some 1/2" pipe and reinforce where you cut out to make it way stronger and give it a good radius'ed edge. This will also be a good life saver if your tire hits it.

Re: Killer

Well I will be filling them back in with custom inner fenders, so it will be plenty strong when I'm done

It will be a 2 part inner fender
The first part will fill in the area between where the original inner fenders bolted on & where the new ones will bolt on
The second part will cover the tires

Those headders are not gonna last long. How far from the ground is your pinch weld? Do you really need a heater in texas?

Re: Killer

Oh they will be fine, they are a 1/4" of the ground at dump, so at ride height if it clears my A-arms then it will clear the headers

Yes you do, it may not snow much here but it definitely gets cold

The frame is about 2-1/2" off the ground, & I think the pinch is something like 3 or so

Re: Killer

Reason I ask is my strong arms are no where near that close to the ground.

I found some HERE that are a lot cheaper

French, do you have drop spindles & are your bags bottoming out ???
With the dropped cups in my lower A-arms my bags dont bottom out until the arms touch the upper plate that the bag bolts to
