xj steering shaft on 2000 s10

I have heard that you can replace a s10 steering shaft with a xj steering shaft. trading the cv style and rag joints for ujoints. does any know if this is true? if so can you elaborate on the swap? if this is in the wrong place I apologize!

It looks like it will work just fine. If you google it you can find allot of people who have posted pics to show you how to do it.
