72 blazer options

I bought a 72 blazer project and im wondering if there is any way to get an options list, the spid in the glove box is gone. It appears to be originally a yellow cst with factory air but has been repainted to an ugly green and was a bad paint job.

With the SPID gone and no dealer invoice you are out of luck. If you post pics we can try to read into what it was originally equipped with.

The exception would be if it were a Canadian truck. Apparently they kept track of those details north of the border.

Also look under the seat in the springs. Sometimes you'll get lucky and find a build sheet.

The only trucks with build sheets in the springs are Fremont built - K5s only built in St. Louis and Flint. No known example to date of a K5 with a build sheet in the rear seat springs.

Re: 72 blazer options

Well i was hoping that wasn't the case, i like the fact that international scouts have lineset tickets filed. The blazer looks rough but is very solid, it looks like the driver door and front seats have been replaced.

Re: 72 blazer options

Looking at the pics you may have a Highlander. your sun visors look to be parchment, you have a tilt wheel, and that door card looks to have parchment highlights, also it has a/c and its a cst. I say nice find. look on this sight for Highlander package and see if your blazer has the things described. I think it will. good luck.

Re: 72 blazer options

I dont think its a highlander but i still think it was a great find. The visors are black vinyl and the column isnt tilt, the pic wasn't the best quality and everything is covered in dust. The door panels are white on back and there is some kind of flower print stamped but no fabric and nothing appears to be missing from them. The top isnt original but its a double wall.
