Cab removal questions

Im about to take my cab off and Im not sure on a couple of things.
1 How or where do I disconnect my parking brake cable (67-68 style).?
2. How does the steering column come apart, or off?

I don't know if this will be the same but on my 69 I just got under the cab and there were two locations where the cable from the cab was connected to cables to the rear drums by a long threaded bolt with like a j end to it. I unbolted that and took off the springs and that I think is all there was to do. It was very grimy so took about twice as long as it should have.

For my steering column, I disconnected the column from the rag joint near the steering box, then took off the strap that bolts to the firewall. Then I went in the cab and had to remove I think just two bolts from a strap that holds the column up to the under dash. Then there was the electrical connection to disconnect. I already had the seat out so I just pulled the column out as one piece with the steering wheel attached.

Hope that helps.
