14 bolt stripped axle

The rear end on my 98 k3500 quit with a bang a while back. It had been clunky for a long time, but I couldn't tell where the clunking was coming from. Sounded like a rattling under bed tool box lid. I pulled the differential cover, but couldn't tell anything. Maybe a table spoon of shavings on the magnet. It's an open differential. I pulled the axles, and found the
driver side stripped out at the splines. The passenger side looks okay. How would you proceed. I don't know lots about rear end repair.
