Re: Dual electric fan
How do you want them to work? We need more info.
Google this and it will bring up all kinds of schematics to look at.

Re: Dual electric fan
1. Run 10 gauge red power from battery or alternator battery junction to 30 amp fuse , then to the no. 30 terminal on the relay. i recommend a 40 amp relay.
2. Run another 10 gauge wire from the no. 87 terminal on the relay to a junction of the two fan power wires. The fan is bi polar which means that if you reverse the ground and power wires on the fans they will run backwards. Yours may not do this but I think they will. So you have to know which wires to make positive and which to make ground and you have to match both fans so that they will both pull air through the radiator. 3. Ground one side of the Hayden probe to the radiator support and run the 16 gauge wire from the other terminal to the no. 85 on the relay. Also ground one side of the override switch and run the other side to the same no. 85 terminal on the relay. 4. Loop a short 16 gauge red wire from the 86 terminal on the relay to the hot wire on the no,30 terminal on the relay and the fans should run when the OR switch is thrown or when the Hayden probe is temperature activated. You might also want to wire in the diode on the 85 terminal as recommended in the website, to prevent arcing in the relay. What size fans do you have? One fan, if large enough might cool sufficiently. You also have the option to bypass the relay with a 30 amp rated switch in case the relay fails.Just run a 10 gauge wire from 30 on the relay to the switch and from the switch back to 87 on the relay. I think I have this right but I'll check the schematic and confirm.

Re: Dual electric fan
What kind of dual fans are you using? If you're running any type of OEM dual fans a single 40a relay isnt gonna cut it.
