Brake booster that doesn't suck?

I replaced the booster on my K20 2-3 years ago, and today right after buttoning up the install of my new redhead steering gear, I got all the warning signs; idle increases when I depress brake pedal and stays elevated; runs and revs terrible. (I just had the thing dialed in prior to this.)

So I don't think I'm going to go back to the typical parts store reman boosters, are there any NEW boosters that are also quality?

Or is someone like this my best bet? (they are just a few hours down the freeway so shipping would be fast)
