Air Cleaner Blues...

Im having issues with the air cleaner on my 69. I bought it with some little aftermarket one on it and Id like to get an original air cleaner and spacer together. The air cleaner i have isn't quite right, and I believe I could use a spacer. I have a tube/hose coming out of the passenger side valve cover close to the firewall that doesn't line up with the port on the air cleaner. It is a 2 barrel and I don't have a spacer. Heres what i got if someone could tell me what I need..I think (correct me if I'm wrong) I have a set up for a non ac pickup. but heres what Ive got.

Why don't you move the hole for the breather. If it's round buy a step drill that will cover that hole size. If it's square drill small holes in each corner and cut out with tin snips. The old hole won't matter.

Re: Air Cleaner Blues...

I don't want to go cutting and making new holes and making something fit while have a couple random open holes. If I'm going to do it, it's going to be done the way the factory had because I'm just a particular s.o.b. When it comes to original stuff. The rest of the pickup is all original from the factory so I'd like to have it stay that way. 697498Chevh if you could get a picture let me know

Re: Air Cleaner Blues...

Heres mine, 350 with 4 barrel and ac. I realize the 4 may be a different setup than the 2 barrel. But maybe it'll help you some

Re: Air Cleaner Blues...

Awesome pictures. Looks about the same as I need..could you possibly get a shot of the tube coming from the manifold. And on top of that manifold?
