Finally, a break.
Just wanted to share with you guys that I finally got a job! Not going to go into details just yet, but I've been unemployed since the middle of January and I've been hunting, but nothing seemed to be panning out.
It was getting tough, but it looks like it's over! After my certification test (Tuesday), I was in a pool of 16 cantidates. They called me earlier today to make the offer. Hate it for the other people, we all need to work - after all, but glad I can finally get my crap together (truck and non-truck crap). You gentlemen and ladies (I know there are some here!) have a great night!

Re: Finally, a break.
Not sure what field you're in but no matter, it's good to be gainfully employed. Congratulations on your new venture!

Glad the wait is over for you! It can be depressing to not have a Job and feel like your not pulling your share.

Re: Finally, a break.
Thanks guys, I'm actually brazing for a large-scale air conditioning company. It's nice to get out of dealing with the (largely ignorant) masses in retail - even if it was auto parts.
Ol Blue, just keep at it... the day I got my call-in from this company, I also had PepsiCo, the US Army and Love's Travel Company get in touch with me, too. It may take a while for it to pour, but it'll pour. I had three consecutive jobs end badly (two terminations and abandoned the third), so I am just blessed to even be considered employable.
