OK Update for everyone who replied to this thread. I just picked up the first batch of hubs but still need to get them anodized, so we are getting close. So stay tuned.

Good info right there...thanks!

I got a pair of the yellow knob "big hubs" out of the junkyard a couple years ago, on sale day for $10. Thing is, one has a broken plastic dial, which appears more common than not.

Great idea, and a perfect fix. I like the idea of keeping period correct, or at least close to it. Put me down for a set....pending a price.

These came out nice! (no surprise) Bad timing for me right now. Not sure how many were made or how long they'll be around, but still interested. I sent a text to my buddy who bought my '72 K/20 Highlander telling him to look here. He's a member but doesn't hang here.
