Re: YeeeeHAAAAWW!

Yea I know its not that big of a deal, but very happy to start this USA thing going again. Kudos to both Moog, Jegs, and the recommendations from members here.

Re: YeeeeHAAAAWW!

When I rebuilt the entire front end of my 1972 GMC C1500 last year, I used all Moog parts. Only thing that wasn't Moog was the new U-bolts that hold the lower control arm shafts. Those are made by Dorman and I upgraded to the larger 9/16".

Re: YeeeeHAAAAWW!

It is hit or miss with Moog for me. I rebuilt a truck a few months ago and got all Moog from Summit. It was half USA and the other half was everywhere else to include China.

Just ordered more Moog from Rockauto and it was all USA. Hopefully this is the new Norm for Moog.

With the new tariffs coming into play most likely Moog has seized the opportunity to make a push of it, Here, At home.

Re: YeeeeHAAAAWW!

I have a Rock Auto shopping cart with just about every wear item for the front and rear suspension. Can't wait to get a similar looking box!

For those of you talking bad about Moog, what have you found that is better? I go AC Delco for most parts. Suspension I always go with Moog.

Re: YeeeeHAAAAWW!

Nobody has spoken bad of Moog. Someone mentioned they bought Moog parts that were not made in USA. Summit probably bought someone out of their older stock. There was already an incentive started to bring manufacturing back before these recent tariff ideas. I think Moog put it's bring it back home movement into swing a while back for it to be in effect now.
