Pigeon Forge Rod Run pics

We just got back from the annual trip to the Smokies. What a blast. I know this is just a portion of them, but I will post more when I get time. Lots to see, and prices were steep, as usual.

Re: Pigeon Forge Rod Run pics

NICE pictures, thanks !! My neighbor from central Fl. went up last Thur. He's been texting me that there are lots of '67-'72's, some pretty reasonably priced. He's a '47-'55 guy. Glad the weather cooperated.

No shortage of these trucks there, huh? It's been over 10 years since I've made that run. Always enjoy it. Thanks for sharing.

Re: Pigeon Forge Rod Run pics

No shortage at all, and believe me, it was a fraction of them. I have never seen as many short beds in a town ever. A few were reasonably priced, by my standards, but it was not uncommon to see an occasional one priced in the 40s or above.

Re: Pigeon Forge Rod Run pics

And this is the last that I took. Many project trucks and some rough old farm trucks were to be had, I just didn't have room on my phone to take a shot of all them plus the other pictures we took. Enjoy... Joe

I didn't mean to step on your thread, but I have looked and cannot find the events page. I probably saw you there I am sure. My wife and I were pulling a Shih-Tzu in an umbrella covered Radio Flyer wagon again this year. I know I missed a bunch of them, and there were several cruising the strip that I could never find sitting still. I wish I had a couple of weeks solid to browse.

Re: Pigeon Forge Rod Run pics

C10s had a commanding presence this year! I'm local, but I wasn't able to make it out until Saturday night and make a few passes and hang out in front of the church a few minutes.
