Talk me into this 03civic for 00 Crew

Thinking about trading my wife's 02 civic which needs about 1500, cracked windshield, tranny needs replacement, 230km for this beast

http://marlinmotors.ca/listing/2000_...500_53898.html

I've always wanted a crew cab, especially with the 90's body style the 7.4 is the only thing that is really turning me off.

What are your thoughts gentlemen?

Re: Talk me into this 03civic for 00 Crew

I like crewcabs. I recently bought an 06 1500 Z71 with 5.3 engine. Prior we had a Suburban K1500 with 5.7 engine. The crew actually gets a bit better mileage than the burb.
You will no doubt be in for an operating cost shocker. That big 2500 with big block is going to pull hard on your wallet, regularly. Going from the economic civic to this rig will make you wonder what you were thinking. This is, of course, if fuel mileage is of any concern to you. The room is great. The ride is good and you can haul stuff.
