Re: Our trucks featured on TV programs?

There's my new favorite station break, the Jose Cuervo Last Days commercial. Look in the background and you will see a 50th anniversary pickup rocking out. And if your really interested there is another thread with a link to a site that lists what seems like every car used in every movie or show ever made. Which is cool as I won $20 in a bet about a convertible Cuda being on the Rockford Files.

Mindhunter shows our trucks now and then. I really like the Nova that Holden drives, someone’s pride and joy . . .

Re: Our trucks featured on TV programs?

There is a black '71 on Truck Tech that also gets worked on by Trucks!

http://www.powernationtv.com/episode...71-c-10-part-1

There are also a couple builds on youtube, including this one.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=so05KWISoPc

Also, as for just seeing our tucks. There are several in background shots in Stranger Things.

Re: Our trucks featured on TV programs?

Diesel Brothers did one. May not like the diesel engine in it but they did A ton a fab work on the chassis.

Re: Our trucks featured on TV programs?

I am glad I was able to share it, I have been saving that in my favorites for 5 months or more. Took me this long to figure out how to post a link and then find this thread again.

Terminator III has a K20 in it. On Overhaulin' they built at least 2 of our trucks that I can think of off the top of my head.

Re: Our trucks featured on TV programs?

Chips, Emergency!, Rockford Files or any tv shows shot around LA. Emergency! seemed to feature lots of cool cars in the background. Looks like they filmed a lot on new highways before they were open. Saw a ‘68 or ‘69 AMX crash and roll once. Made me cringe!

Re: Our trucks featured on TV programs?

One of the fast and furious movies has a vintage tow truck , --- Vin Diesel is driving a GN and his buddies are attempting to latch the tow truck to a gas tanker to abscond with it

Re: Our trucks featured on TV programs?

Roadkill and Hotrod Garage have both recently done builds on 67-72s not sure if they are watchable for free yet or not, but they're on motortrendondemand.com.

Not tv but my truck was used in a magazine ad in Surfer magazine several years ago with Daniel Jones for Ocean Minded sandal company.
