I agree that is a sweet truck. Looks to be close to the color Pale Yellow I am looking for.

Re: Looking for pictures of yellow 67-72 trucks

Thanks here is the story, my buddy has this paint in his gun about to paint the Ferrari, owner calls his cell, he almost didn't answer it. Owner says I want Black! You can keep the 2 gals of yellow for your trouble, paint it black. He kept the paint for 2 years then donated it to my project.
Cool eh!

Re: Looking for pictures of yellow 67-72 trucks

Thats a cool story. I want to paint my 70 Pale yellow, that is what the code is saying it was at one time. It is red right now, but I can see the Pale yellow under the headliner. It had a white top and white below the woodgrain trim at the bottom. So I am hoping to paint it back the original colors. My daughter wants it blue.

Yes it is fog. It was a rare senario with lighting, fog & a phone camera. The perfect storm? Not sure but I was definatley surprised.

Repainted original Harvest Gold. Setting sun makes it look a little darker than normal.

Interior shot shows the yellow better.

That is a really nice truck, I like the color. I have a dumb question... do all step sides have the tire mount on the side? I do not see many steps in VA.

Thanks for the compliment. Side mounted tires were optional. Short steppers typically don't have the side mount. I've also seen long steppers without the side mount.

Re: Looking for pictures of yellow 67-72 trucks

My 72 is a lwb fleet and the 70 is a swb fleet. I see some step sides at shows around here, but not many. To tell the truth I do not see many 67-72 trucks at all. I think I live in Camaro, Nova, Chevelle area that is what I see most the time.

I have a question, on my SPID the truck is white/pale yellow, I am guessing that the 70 paint was white top and pale yellow body.

I have seen the '10 camaro color, but I have been totally colored blind all my life. It gets to were I have no idea what color I am looking at sometimes. But I have 20/20 vision. For some reason I can see the colors a little better on the computer then seeing cars and trucks in person.

Actually I've seen a couple around Chesterfield. There usually either really nice or just rotted complaining out.
