We're starting a new project! This was basically a 1968 GMC long bed pick up truck we shortened Name: IMG_4554.jpg

Size: 72.0 KBthe frame and are going to put in a front and rear suspension out of a C-4 Corvette! This will be our test truck for this type of suspension the plan is to start developing chassis with this suspension so that people can directly bolt on their cab and bed.

Originally we were just going to make it a clean lowered shop truck before we decided to make it a test truck for the C4 chassis!Name: IMG_4562.jpg

Great another GMC! Looks like you're off to a good start. I'm along for the ride and originally from Chula Vista. Good luck with it.

what's a C4 chassis? I'm ignorant.

Re: 68 gmc/c4

We're taking C4 corvette suspension parts and installing them on to a C10 chassis! We're trying to develop something more along the lines of performance rather than airbag and we're trying to make it to where somebody can just both their cab in bed onto the chassis without any Sheetmetal fabrication!

We mounted the front crossmember today! We're waiting on the driveshaft loop we need Still mount the rear shocks and a few details before we sandblast the chassis and then box in the frame rails!Name: IMG_4735.jpg

Re: 68 gmc/c4

I have your trucks brother, and you are doing exactly what I plan to do to my 68 GMC. Are you planning on doing a suspension kit? Also who did your front cross member?

What a great project. Can't wait to see the outcome!

I'm in. Cool concept. It would be nice to see a suspension setup like this available as you are planning.

Did you guys build the front cross member? If not where did you source it from?
