Tilt steering column

Will a tilt steering column from a '73 C10 be a direct bolt in for a '72? thanks

Re: Tilt steering column

No, it was a generational change then the 73 is the first model year of what is called the squares and it lasted in the pickup until 1987. the steering column is a larger diameter and has the key and ignition switch in the column and of course the 72's did not. Jim
