6 cyl tach in 8 cyl truck

Is there any way to run a 6cyl tach in a 8cyl truck. Anyone used one of these?

Re: 6 cyl tach in 8 cyl truck

I haven't used one, but electronically it would be pretty straightforward to read 6 pulses per revolution as 8 pulses....

On the other hand, I have an 8 cyl tach if ya wanna work out some sort of deal (over on the sale board, of course!)....
