Transmission Help????

Great to be back on the forum again. Starting over again on my engine / transmission combo in my 72 C10. Just wondering if I will have to do any modifications to get a built 350 and 700r4 to fit clean? Current has a crap 350 and a crap 5 speed manual.
Thanks!!!!!

Re: Transmission Help????

Pretty easy swap with very little mods needed. Best is do a search a bunch of people have done it including myself.

Few things of the top of my head
Auto column, or floor shifter
Trans cooler and lines
Cross member for the 700r4
Correct linkages for the T.V. cable
Lock up system for torque convertor
maybe shorter drive shaft.
