Wilwood adjustable prop for my 71 c15

Got this new wilwood adjustable prop and master cylinder to replace my stock, great deal for $274 so couldn't pass it up. I will be installing it onto my factory booster, will i encounter any issues? I have all new copper nickel brake line to fab up and ss lines for front and rear disk I'm replacing it all and the suspension after this hurricane passes. Here is where I am at a loss for words, my factory prop has one 3/16 line out that goes to a T and rubber lines connecting to my front disk. Would I be better off running individual lines from prop for each side (has 2 outs for front) to my braids or plug one and run the same as factory to the T and off to my front calipers for front brakes. By the way I was truly impressed by wilwood on this set up, looks very nice and straight forward. Any recommendations? It was Christmas today and I got a big order in, ready to turn some wrenches.

Funny, I was just looking at one of those the other day as well. I read, on Wilwood's site, that it really doesn't matter if you run a single or dual line out to the front calipers. Performance won't be affected one way or the other.

It is nice, google sportcompact warehouse and get summit to price match it, will be at your door in 2 days or so and save you $70+ I will just run to the T then. Seems easyier. Need to get a plug.

I picked up wilwoods d52 calipers to throw on a belltech 3" drop spindle. Got them to price match those too. loaded calipers for $302 shipped in one day, was impressed by summit and wilwood so much I got the d154 rear ebrake kit to coming in tomorrow, got a deal on it too. Thinking it will be a nice fit and look good.

Used a coupon code. $675 shipped best deal I could find and Used thestopshop from Amazon for ss line kit, $40 each front and back, the rear rubber T line is $18 for braided ss. Saved over $200 bucks that way just on rear and brake lines thought I should share with you guys. They also gave me points to get $50 off my next $100 order when I bought the rear wilwood kit, getting some drop shackles for the ece 4" drop leafs and using it.

I just did this exact swap using stock style power booster and used the nicopp brake lines.The plug you are looking for I found at advanced auto parts but was in the back of store behind counter.I might have one pic on phone now see if i can find it.

Just picked one up from AutoZone, you are not kidding no one working there knew where it was and after searching 30min I found one. Doing the plug route, seems to keep some of the line out of my engine bay, and causes no issues. btw yours is looking clean.

I will be repainting factory booster and bracket with some vht chassis black. Glad to know it works, I was fairly sure it would. I actually like the look of the polished master better now having it all in front of me.

I was up under my engine bay and I will be needing some new spark plugs soon. Looks like it will be extremely hard to change while I have hooker full length headers on. Very tight.

Z10, you eliminated the switch on the front of the prop valve? What is that for exactly?

Brake pressure switch. You can plug it.

Yes, it turns on a "Brake" light in the dash panel if you loose pressure in one of the brake circuits. I'm using a custom dash panel and it does not have the light, so I eliminated it. It does not impair the function of the prop valve.

Got one of my rotors in today for driver side. Stop Tech 127.66000L. Summit had them for 119.99 each got them to drop price to 80.00 shipped, matched car parts.com price for me and got them to my door less than 48hrs, Summit is great, I do not like dealing with company's whose service is based in India so I get Summit to price match a lot of my parts as low as I can find. Good quality, it has races installed and came with no rear seal or bearings. Picked these because the "style" match my wilwood rear rotors best the best. Machined rotor hat is coated very well, vanes and all non contact surfaces look good, I'm happy with them. If you need new tie rod boots or yours are torn order a pack of the poly bush I have in the pic below, $4 bucks a pair. I tore one of mine and other one looks aged. Joints are smooth and serviceable so will not replace.

following your every move, loading a cart on Summit for nearly identical items on a budget. I have properly working power drum brakes, do you know if I can just swap the prop valve for disc/drum? You seem to have part numbers down pat, I am concerned with having to use too many fittings for the conversion.

You can use disk/drum prop but need proper master as well for volume supply. If you had drum/drum before get a new master. I would use a new master anyways if your going to put new prop on very old master. It will keep things simple, and less likely to cause you issues down the road. Look up Thestopshop on Amazon they sell 25' of copper nickle line and all the fittings you will need for $35 in a package. Bend it by hand, rent flare tool and bender from AutoZone for free. Walla all new brake lines and fittings $35. I got that whole willwood setup with brackets, jumper pipe, master and prop from summit $275 using PRICE match from sportcompactwarehouse.

This is what i did to save about $75 bucks mine. Went to link below. That is natural color though cheaper than the black if you want to save few $$. You pay a bit more for wilwood compared to china junk, but their quality is top notch. I wouldn't recommend if otherwise and I am sure many will agree. Can save a little bit more buy buying cpp... etc, personally I wouldn't do it.

261-13270 is prt# $245, 1.12 bore, natural color summit price is $311. Call price match it, everything you need if you are running a booster behind it, I couldnt find one cheaper if I remember, but you get the idea. Has a adjustable prop valve you can set up the rear for drum or disk. If no booster I would go with a smaller bore, I have a booster so I used the 1.12 master under that part number. I actually got the powder coated blk kit, everything you need, shipped $273. I bought one plug from autozone to plug one of the front out ports and ran one line from prop for front disk to factory T that splits for front disk.

Fit is good for rotor and boot. Poly boot is perfect under that part# in pic above. Amazon has it, I questioned myself before I ordered if it would be a perfect fit for my '71 like many people have I'm sure, if you are ever removing a tie end rod you might as well replace boot with a poly if your joint is fairly new, few dollars and 10x better than the rubber on replacements.
