Sweet. The pics make it hard to tell. Nice work. I saw that rot in earlier pics and wondered how you'd deal with that. I keep some sheet I picked up from Home Depot for repairs like that but that firewall looked daunting. Nice job forming it up!

Re: 10 year old revival....

Well making a little progress. Trying a little harder to get it together since it's getting closer and closer.

Re: 10 year old revival....

Okay, need to pick up some fender washers for the side I got back together and get the alignment good, but for now, onto the other side.

Cool thing about friends helping is that sometimes they make more work for you to keep you working on your project lol. By helping hand cut a little too much outta the floor, so I'll have to use my floorpans and a patch as well.

After seeing the passenger side I was praying I wouldn't have any issue with rust on this side. Well, no rust. This cowl looks perfect. Crazy. So, cleaned the cowl and core support on the fender side and shot with rust converting primer. Getting there!!!

Re: 10 year old revival....

Got some tacking done. Now only have a couple of patches to make to complete the drivers side and maybe get some seats mounted

Re: 10 year old revival....

Looks familiar, patches on patches. lol I've done a bit of that lately. Maybe Eastwood has a patch-stretcher we could get? Seriously, looks good! Question, the left hand side of that black patch panel, where it meets the kick panel, are you tucking the lip under and adding seam sealer or are you welding that seam together?

Tucking the lip under with Panel bond and welding what I can easily get to. I'm not worried about a weld seam here or there, I plan on dynamatting the truck. I know it's not going to be perfect, or factory, I'm just going for functional

Finally pulled it outside to let it move around a little. Gotta adjust them brakes.

After doing door seals and window seals, yet again, something I would never not do because it is fairly simply and doesn't cost too much.

Then I had to try this big bad 2wd out. Front driveshaft is still out so I was just messing around. Couldn't go much higher without it hitting the back of the fender. I am going to adjust the DIY4X B52 Front leaf spring mount forward an inch which should help, then I think I may have to slightly trim the fender.

IMG_20180501_144851 by Kalvin Daniels, on Flickr

It will get some crazy articulation once I am not worried about bashing these fenders more than they were when I received them.
