Wiper Motor

DOE'S ANYBODY KNOW IF A WIPER MOTOR, ELEC. AFTER MARKET FOR A 1951 CHEVY 1/2 TON, WOULD FIT A 1954 CHEVY 1/2 TON. I HAVE ALOT OF NEW STUFF I BOUGHT FOR MY 51, AND BOUGHT A 54 AND DECEIDED TO BUILD IT INSTEAD OF THE 51. I KNOW THE DR. HANDLES ARE DIFF. AND THE WINDSHEILD, ARE THE DRS.,FRT, FENDERS AND HOOD INTER CHANGEABLE. P.S. IT IS MOUNTED ON A 1980 1/2 TON SURBAN CHASSIS,SHORTENED. W/ 350/TURBO 350 TRANS. DON'T HAVE ANY PICTURES AS OF YET, BUT WILL POST LATER. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APP. SIGNED GARY..

Hi, I think the w/s wiper motors are the same. I have seen a 53 front end including the grille on a 54. There is a difference in the fenders in the grille area. Hope this helps.

The wiper motor should work fine.

CAN THE FRONT END BE BOLTED ON TO A 54 FROM A 51, AND IS THE HOOD INTERCHANGEABLE. IF SO I THINK I'LL KEEP MY 51 FRONT END, AND SELL THE CAB AND BED SIDES.I'LL HAVE TO TAKE SOME PICTURES OF IT AND POST IT IN THE PARTS SECTION NEXT WEEK. THANKS GUYS FOR YOUR INPUT, I NEED ALL THE HELP I CAN GET.
