What is my tranny?
I have a 2006 GMC 1/2 ton 2wd with a 4.8 V-8 and a 5-speed.
It is a regular cab short bed. What is the tranny? NV4500, NV3500, etc???

It really could be either one, but I would be it is the lighter duty Nv3500.

After talking to the dealer today (kind of a hassle BTW), it is a Getrag MG5.
