1968 K20 3/4t 4x4 project 4 sale

1968 3/4t 4x4 Custom - Golden Anniversary $800

This is a project and is disassembled...its been sitting in the garage for quite a while so would like to verify the condition before someone buys.

Frame - stripped & painted serveral years ago, never wrecked
Axles - Original, PO rebuilt w/new bearing & hubs needs brakes
Springs - original, assembled with axles on frame
Bed - original on frame, needs minor body work no to minimum rust good tailgate
Cab - replaced with w/68 a/c cab lots of rust rockers/floors/roof (original vin tags included)
Doors - came with cab some surface rust on bottoms
Fenders - good original
Hood- good original minimal surface rust
Core Support - original with typical small rust spot under the battery
Trans - original 4speed not in truck still married to t-case
Transfer Case - original t221 Rockwell not in truck
Drive Shafts - original
Motor - NO MOTOR previous owner kept the 327
Bumpers - Beater quality not on truck

In General this truck is missing the motor and some small things like brake lines, carpet, door panels etc that would need to be replaced. Included are extra parts such as grills, core supports etc, You really need to look at it to see condition and all the parts. Thanks Dan 360-658-8761

I don't want to part it out as it is the only 4x4 50th anniversary I have ever seen and I have only seen a picture of one other one. I am negotable on the price or would take part trade on a dana 44 8 lug disk brake front end with 4:10 gears. It would have to be in "bolt in" usable condition.

Not doubting the knowledge of your truck, but how do you know that is a 50th ann. edition? Is there some sort of plate or other markings to indentify this? Just curious as I have not seen one either. Thanks Jeremy

The 551 paint code ivory/gold identifies it as a 50th, and i beleive he has the original build sheet for the truck to show it as an original 50th. saw this for sale a while back and wanted it, but its so far away. good luck
Ryan

desertchevy, Good question. I don't have the glove bove sticker as it was repainted, but I do have the build sheet that shows the 551 Ivory/Gold anniversary paint option and also the 625 parchment cloth interior. They could also come with the 626 ?? vinyl interior.

I am negotiable on this !!!

Re: 1968 K20 3/4t 4x4 project 4 sale

I do have a D44 8 lug disc front axle with 4.10 gears that I donīt need anymore. Are you still interested in a trade? I know Maine is far away from you, but maybe we could work sth out... in case you still have the truck complete minus the engine...

Re: 1968 K20 3/4t 4x4 project 4 sale

Because people "want" 67-72 K/20s. I would send a PM if I dug up a 8-10 year old ad. This hogs up the page for a far fetched notion, makes a guy look a bit silly (IMO),AND I seriously doubt the seller is still checking their sale thread...especially since the board has long since been divided into separate categories and this is no longer the plce to list trucks for sale. If you want to ask them, ask on a PM to be sure they see it,at least before thousands of others do.
Take this as advice, not busting on you. Makes more sense, doesn't it?
