I think the patterns on the 'rails are different top to bottom, so you'd probably have to drill. Also have to think of carrier bearing mounting and e-brake cable pass-throughs...

Theres 2 rivets on the top and 3 on the bottom. I will probably just drill 2 extra holes and put three bolts on both sides. Looks like the drive shaft passage is the same either way. Striaght shaft no carrier. My cut outs for the exhaust on the one I have look kind of bad. I basicly cut diamonds out of them with a sawzall. Heres a pic. Does anyone think I haved damaged the strength of the crossmember. Just trying to make a good decision in preparing for the no limit shock relocators.

so outa curiousity, do i have to relocate my rear shocks with a 5" coil drop or can i get away with just using drop shocks?

To go 5", 'drop shocks' will be down to appx 3 1/2" travel. (and laid over like crazy) thats 1 3/4" bump, and droop, from RH. Check into the shock relocators. BTW, try a 3" spring, and a 2" block. Your kidneys, and your girl's kidneys will thank you. Just because they sell 5" drop springs doesn't make them a good idea. - kinda like chain steering wheels.

rob is there enough room with this conversion to still have my 29" x 15.5" tyres,in the pic it seems pretty close to the axle centreline.
anyone bought a kit that is running a big rear wheel/tyre setup ?

I am running 18 x 9, with a 6" backspack (really should be 4 3/4 to fit perf.), 275/40/18, there is still 4"+ from the tire to the shock. I don't see any problems.

All the brackets are powder coated machine grey. They will fit with any of the aftermarket bolt-on C-notch kits.

I'd like to order kit 3GC-RR-100 & 3GC-RR-101 A. Also does the panhand clear after market covers? Mine sticks out farther than the stock?

Yes, the panhard should clear, we have 1 3/4" from the stock cover, but, if not, we will custom build you a bent bar at no extra cost, and swap with you.

Truck info.
1971 LWB with about 5"-6" rear drop with helper air bags. No c-notch. Ride is fantastic now. I have the shock kit as you can see in the video. Thanks for a great product. I have 20" wheels 10" wide in rear.

the tires are OK I guess. It handles good. They are z rated so I want get much milage out of them they said. Going to swap the camera around tonight and do a straight ahead video.

It sucks not being able to hear! LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB! After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
