Some old books i forgot about

Rifle ... 1918
Soldier ... 1917
AAA Tour books mid 50's
Zane Gray ...1949
Over There ... 1919
Laddie ... 1916
Lucky Books ... 42 43 and 46
Flash Gordon ... 1941
Hopalong Cassidy ... 1911

None are collector editions. Some are in really crappy condition. All of them are cool

We had a house years ago that had built in book cases so we just started buying old books to fill up the shelfs. When we sold that house i just kept a few of the books, gave the rest away.

Re: Some old books i forgot about

I probably haven't even thought of Flash Gordon in at least 15 years!

My Pop used to tell us stories of seeing Flash Gordon at the Matinee on Saturdays. Was 25 cents to get in and Flash Gordon was the intermission show. They'd spend the entire day there for less than 3 or 4 bucks. He said that truth be told, they really went to see that intermission show and see their friends.. The original Facebook.

Every once in a while, we would get to watch TV on our old 13" Admiral B&W long before cable. Flash was the coolest with the sparks shooting out of the back of his space ship. And that Evil Emperor Ming! Don't even get me started.

Neat post on the books CG! Ive got an old Popular Mechanics around here that my Grandpa gave me when I was my son's age. Ill try and find it and post it up if its not considered a hijack.

Phones do that. Don't ask me why.

Lucky Terrell. Might be a relative of mine. Same name. Except I'm not lucky.
