swing away tire carrier

I am still trying to find some mounting brackets for a swing away spare tire carrier for my 72 Blazer. I have the carrier and the top body mount but still need the lower body mount and the tailgate mount.
if there is anyone out there who could help please let me know, I will pay cash for them or trade some parts that I may have let me know what you need.
Also if anyone has some pics of their carrier mounted to the body could you give me some pics of the brackets and how they are attached esp. the tailgate latch.
Thank you in advance to anyone who responds.
Dave

I e-mailed these pics to you too, but here they are just in case they don't go through.

This is the upper outside bracket.

This one shows the relationship between the inside top and the outside top. Both curve to body.

Who make sthat carrier I have what I thought was an origanal carrier it bolts on behind the rear bumper to the bumper bolts so you dont have to drill in to the body but I dont think it will hold more then a 33 in tire and my new tred will be 38in.

I don't know who makes the carrier. I think they were dealer installed options. I have never seen one that bolts to the bumper except homemade or new aftermarket carriers for serious off-roaders. Can you post a picture when you get a chance.

Bouncytruck...your swing away is just like the one I have on the Jimmy. It is not a factory or dealer installed part. I THINK it was made by Bestop, but I'm not positive. I seem to be suffering "Oldtimers" disease. I bought mine in 1988 and it was the last one the wholesaler had. Not only that it was open box. Fortunately complete. It has been years since they were made, but a nice product all in all. I really like the chrome bumpers on my truck, but if I was building a serious offroader, I would fab my own bumper and make a swing away that didn't attach to the body at all the way the Jeep guys do.

Mike C - thanks for the info on my swing away. I bought it from a board member so I don't really know the history behind it. I'm with you, I like the chrome bumpers but this type isn't the best for serious offroad.
