2WD to 4WD ?

Can a body from a 2WD Suburban chassis be put onto a 4WD Suburban chassis? I've got a 2WD '72 Suburban and I want a 4WD. I've located a solid '72 4WD Suburban and am thinking about swapping my body onto it. Any suggestions or advice on doing this?

Thanks,

Bryan

very doable

Need floor cut on 2 wheeler for bolt in trans hump, I suggest new body bushings throughout and while your there repair any rust on body mounts. Biggest problem is size, its one piece and heavy. I have seen fork lift used with straps or jack and block body up and roll one out and other in or ? Probably want to clean and paint frame to some degree while its bare.

Good luck and keep us posted if you do it.
