Re: paint prices

in arlington texas, between fortworth dallas, a guy quoted me $1100 for interior, exterior, down to the first body line under bed rails, and not under the hood. if i wanted him to do the remaining bodywork he quoted me $1500.

Re: paint prices

Re: paint prices

I got the following Quotes for "GQ"

TN - $2500 (Local) TO $12500 (Pro Paint shop in Nashville)

and another guy who is awesome quoted me $100 an hour

TX - FREE, But I can't get it there and back for that, plus I
have to leave it for who knows how long, what a deal eh

I'm scared to death of having it done since BLACK is a tuff color
to do right, or so I have been told by many peeps in many shops

Not trying to be modest, but the peeps on here have seen it say it's
near perfect, but nobody around here really wants to attempt it

Re: paint prices

I paid ~$7500 for paint and bodywork on mine locally (Georgia at the TN border).

It is several coats of single stage urethane, and a COMPLETE coverage job. Bed was painted off frame, bodywork was minimal really - not a lot of rust or dents, etc.

I did add a few things, like a flat steel bed plate, a "Cool Cap" gas cap that had to be molded in, my cab floor was rusted, and of course, the rockers. Other than that, minor stuff.

It is a very high quality job, and they pulled all the rubber and put it back in, etc.

Can get some good pics if you want. There's a few bad one's in the link of my sig.
