The first ever 73-91 Burb post your ride thread!

Ok guys,

I've decided to try to see how many burbs we got on here to test the waters for a possible TOTM poll or maybe a Featured ride/project every month. So lets see em! Pics are mandatory and some info on them, (yr, drivetrain, future plans etc) would be really great!

Thanks guys!

Brian

My truck: 1986 Chevy Suburban C10 in Silverado trim. 350 SBC mated to a TH7004R and 3.73 rear end. Bone stock except for a K&N air filter, Edelbrock Performer IAS shocks, Flowmaster Delta Flow 3-chamber muffler, Crime Guard keyless entry, Pioneer 6-CD changer in the center console, and a small power booster for the rear speakers.

One neat aspect to my truck is that the original factory grease pencil markings are still on the radiator core support and the firewall, even after all these years.

A shot from when I lived in Spruce Pine, just down the road from Bisquik65...

From the Carlisle All-GM Nationals last year (2003):

My favorite part about the Carlisle All-GM Nationals this year (2004) :

Yes sir, I've had my truck 11 years now and still love it as much as ever.

Daily Driver

Here is my 87 Burb daily driver. I bought this about 3 months ago so I could get the factory "Bud" rims for my 72 pickup. I didn't pay a lot for it and started to drive it and really like it.There are 207k /120,000 miles on her and iIts got a bench front seat and a 350 with 700R4 and 3:08's in the rear so the mileage is decent. There si minimal rust for an 87 and we are in the sno belt here. If you look close at the rear pic you can se wheere I put duct tape over the rust hole so the water won't get in when I wash her. I like it so much I am trying to sell it and want to get a 89 to 91 with the different front clip and I'd want buckets and the 3rd seat as well as rear ac/and or heater.

1982 Burb

Hi Guys ,

there is mine :
http://forum-dreams-cars.net/upload/...=ST&f=3&t=189&

it is a 1982 Burb , imported from Texas in 1995 , plans are to put a 1979 front clip , I still have to buy a left inner fender & front fender , the rest of the pieces I will use come from a 1979 parted out long bed C-10 .

used to have a 6.2 Diesel in it , engine broken when I bought it ( traded in , in fact , for a 1979 Yamaha XS650SE , which had become a real piece of s**t , was about 500€ worth... ) , had a TH700R4 in it

now , it has a gassed 260ci Oldsmobile engine in it ( don't ask , please ), with a TH400 , but I will get for my X-mas a 350 Olds engine , coming from a Cad Seville 1978 ( still have to prove I was a good boy , though... )

should be ready to hit the road at half 2005 , for the Antwerp annual meeting ( 3d sunday of August ) in Belgium ( Yeah , I know , Where the f**k is Belgium ? )

6.2 engine almost sold ( 250€ ) , had a connecting rod / crankshaft problem , still have a TH700R4 for sale

have no time and no $$$$$ to work on it right now , still busy to improve the home ( costs hell of $$$$ )

gretzzz

the Baron

Here's mine, still working on it. This is right after the installation of the 2" lift, and new front end parts.
