Question Were the 67-72 Chevy pickups ever offered with 5 slot rally wheels?

I've never seen any old school 6 lug, only after market so I'm guessing the answer is no.

So the next question is; What were the sportiest factory wheels offered for the 67-72?

No rally wheels were offered on any 67-72 trucks. Blazers had optional white spoke wheels in 72, maybe in 71 as well, but I'm not sure.

No rally wheels of any kind were available on the 67-72 trucks.

They were only available with full hub caps or poverty caps over basic steel wheels.

The 5 slot rallys are the camaro, chevelle, vette style wheels from factory and have a 4 3/4" bolt pattern. No rallys available on trucks until mid 70s. However 5 slot rallys are available from the aftermarket with the truck bolt pattern of 5x5". Wheel Vintique is one who offers these wheels. Summit Racing sells them.

Well that's kind of a bummer. I guess it's too late to call Chevrolet and complain.

I just slapped some on my truck because I thought they looked cool (plus I got them at a good price). It looks better than the crappy aftermarket wheels I had on it.

They are so commonly put on 67-72 Chevy trucks that most seem to think they were factory installed.

Re: Were the 67-72 Chevy pickups ever offered with 5 slot rally wheels?

5 slot rallyes never came on any truck ever. First we referred to them as rallye wheels, then as car rallyes once trucks got their own styled wheels. So then we went with calling them car or truck rallyes. Funny, Chevy offered another car rallye for Camaro, Chevelle, and Nova and I've never known what to call those other than "Not the ones that came on Vettes". Once those came out the rallyes were referred to as Vette rallyes. I never cared for those and I guess I'm not alone because I hardly see them, never hear talk of them, and they never got their own name by the general pop.

GM offered no optional styled wheels on trucks until the mid-70s. Wheels were once a standardized thing for vehicle, just came in various sizes for various purposes. On the 67-72 light trucks GM the only wheel options were tire options. You got a different size wheel to accommodate the tire you opted for. The only "cooler" optional wheels were the 16.5 x 8.25s. And even on K/5-K/10 that's what you got when ordering 10.00 flotation tires, in 6-lug.

I've seen a few with 80s rally wheels but not too many with the 60s style.

I like the look. I'll probably paint the rears silver eventually.
