one wire alternator
yes i have reviewed several alternator wiring threads but still have a question. i just relocated the battery to the rear of my 67 stepside...can i run the alternator wire to the positive battery cable at the starter rather than all the way back to the battery. or if there is a better direction.. looking for advice.

Re: one wire alternator
thanks fuzzy. any other comments regarding the wire. i attached a pic of the newly relocated drop down battery box. not many places down low on my 67 stepside. i actually used the bumper mounting to frame bolts to bolt the battery box in place. still need to put a grommet in the frame opening to protect the battery cable.
