71 Surbarban

I went and looked at a 71 surbaban 4x4 on my lunch break today that is for sale at a nearby pawnshop/mini warehouse .They are asking $1200 for it but boy is it rough and rusty .I have been looking at it from a distance and thought it would be a cool old truck but it would cost a fortune to bring it back and I already have a major project in the body shop so theres no funds for it if it was in better shape. I told him I didnt think it was worth anywhere near $1200 unless someone needed it for parts and he said it would probably be sold for scrap .He didnt want to cut his price but would sell it for scrap ,that really bothers me when someone could use it but nothing I can do. Just wanted to vent .
