Bed Strips

My original bed sides have 9 holes ,Do the bed strips have this many also? What are the measurements for each hole? ('56 short step)

Most of the suppliers will have pre-drilled bed strips for your truck. I would not recommend drilling your own as they are square to accomodate the carriage style bolts.

MAR-K makes angle covers without holes,They make ribbed bolts to replace the carrige bolts.

Mar-K has pretty good photos and you can count the bolt holes in the strips. I didn't notice if they have the spacing. The factory assembly manual show the bed strip holes lining up with the side angle holes but does not give the spacing, the parts must have arrived pre punched so it was not a critical dimension.
