throttle linkake problems -question ??

doing a new cab on a 83 k-30 chassis/85 cab -350 motor has a alum. intake w/small holley -my factory linkage -does not have enough travel to open carb ?? i did buy a "edelbroc throttle pin" but it dont line up -left to right & put linkage in a bind? thought-maybe a linkage -bolt down kit from -holley-edelbrock might work ?? or just cut a modify the stocker ?? plus there is not enough travel -inside the pedal is floored & throttle arm on carb is not wide open ?? any quick ideas ? trying to find something aftermarket local is a bi--- these days !! thanks mike

i could not find any bolt on easy way to do the hook -up SOO i bought a after market "holley carb -hole adapter bushing - "pm performance" a 1- 1/2 x 1/4 dia grd 8 bolt & a couple of "self locking nuts & bolted it together ! works good! even cleared the "edelbrock" air cleaner ! i just dont like the open style air filter !
