Cab Mount Questions

1971 K15 shortbed, I am changing the cab mounts and it looks like someone has been there before me. The drivers side had worn out bushings but the factory shim spacer type washers are present and I'll reuse them. The passenger side (which was sagging more than the left) did not have the nice spacers, instead just some mis aligned sleeves on the middle and rear mounts. Anyone know who supplies just the correct spacers? I would buy the whole mounts if I could fine the proper ones. I do not want to reuse the sleeves.

Re: Cab Mount Questions

I have used a couple different cab mount sets and none of them had the proper length spacer sleeves, i re used the best old ones I could find. You could cut new ones using your old ones for samples.

Re: Cab Mount Questions

I got new one ones from Classic Heartbeat. (The front cab mounts are the same on pickups and Suburbans) Pretty sure they came with new washer/spacers but not the inner sleeves. I found some sleeves at the hardware store and shortened them.

There is a more information here starting about halfway down the page.
