Re: '67 Short Step #2

I have the same problem bobbo, never win, but I never purchase the ticket. Oh well.... one more $1 for the truck!

Sorry to hear that you won't be able to make it to Blue Springs, but the board meet is definitely worth saving a little more $$$. I only wish we could have rescheduled our trip, maybe next year!

Made some real progress this weekend! We put the engine in last night and Kyle painted it today. Here's lots of pics. Sorry Kyle, couldn't wait to post these.

Re: '67 Short Step #2

Yes, it is in his garage, and it looks perfect in the pics, but there are a few flaws and a couple things he is going to repair...But it does look sweet all the same. Thinking he is going to paint my truck....

I forgot to hook up the oil pressure line to the gauge, had a little spill. Who's Andy?

Thanks for posting RobertoBobbo. Made me realize that I want to have the pinstripe done in Black.

Excellent!!

Man, that is one slick look rig, no doubt about it. The paint turned out great, and the scheme is really growing on me, lol.

Can't wait to see/hear that 6 spring to life. What do you plan on running for exhaust?

Re: '67 Short Step #2

I've always been a sucker for glasspacks, especially since I'm a big fan of the rap off.

Otherwise, I'm sure any sort off muffler would due; it's all about preference. Flowmaster, Thursh, etc etc. Everyone will have a different opinion.

So, with that being said - 26 inch glasspacks (Thursh steelpacks for classic sound, CherryBombs for price, whatever) as close to the headers as possible. then just 2 or 2.25 inch pipe to the destination of your choice. It'll have that classic six babble, and be pretty mellow with the longer 'packs.

But, thats just me. whichever you choose, I'm sure it's going to compliment the truck nicely.

-Sam.
