Re: A little more about my '68, with pics!

Good for you!! I've got 4 kids and drive a 1972 suburban as my daily driver. My kids call it the "vroom vroom". I've updated it a little with a 2008 escalade 6.2 with 6 speed automatic, but only because the big block in it was getting 6 mpg!! It's got heat, AC, power steering and power brakes, what more could you possibly need? Oh wait, power windows are on the list of planned updates, those would be nice too. It's great to see another burb being used as a daily driver! Welcome to the club!

That's a great Burb!! Did you get that out of Layton Utah? I think you should keep the orange but that's just my opinion. Congrats I think you scored a good one!

I don't like jumping all over the place to view rides. I come here to see the picture posts and builds people take the time to share with this community. I appreciate all the questions and answers posted right here on this board. Bunch of really great people ... these are the folks I want to "deal" with.

I agree. I don't normally travel to other web sites to view pictures either... maybe he'll post some on here at some point....

Re: A little more about my '68, with pics!

Yes, I got it off Ebay a few weeks ago!

To the folks that don't care for my method of sharing, I apologize. I made sure that the blurb that came up when you hover the thread shows it was going to a link so those that didn't want to click off site could just skip it if so desired.

I had a few requests from here for pictures, but lots more from my family, friends and blog followers so it was much easier for me to share in that manner. And it gives the whole story of the 'burb... why we got it, our plans, etc.
