patching hole son fiberglass blazer top

There,s some holes from a roof rack on my 78 blazer and was wondering the best way to fill them up. I was thinking of that kitty hair body filler

Fiberglass mat and resin. Use wax paper as a backer. Depending on the size of the hole, you can brush a little resin in, then stuff in some mat, then put some more resin on and sand it flat once dry. Or you can soak the mat pieces in resin and stuff them in. It's the best way to correctly repair fiberglass.
