I think you have to identify it as 6 cyl or V8 because V8 switches are spring loaded where 6 cyl ones click and stop in the "on" position - so some switches are for on/off 6 cyl applications and some are for V8 that spring back when turned to the right

If this is from the box shown that switch is for V-8 without the foot starter . Or for the 6 cylinder with the hydramatic trans. Not for 6 cylinder with manual trans.
