Re: wilwood brakes

I have a set, tho its on my '66 with a 71 crossmember (2wd). They fit directly in place of the stock caliper on the 1.25" rotor. For the money, they were really nice and they are eye-candy as well.

I do have one major gripe which I'm dealing with. They use a very weird non-standard bleeder, which is actually 2 fittings. Mine developed a slow leak all on its own (never touched after install, still on its first set of pads), and the fluid got UNDER the powdercoating and ruined it. I'm dealing with them on it currently, tho I was able to find a repair part for the bleeder locally under a special part #.

Scotts Hot Rods' sells the kits as well, and I believe they are a forum sponsor. They beat most other places price when I called direct and talked shop for a few minutes with them.
